Overview
The Town of Winthrop is hiring a Finance Assistant due to an upcoming retirement. This position provides payroll, accounts payable, human resources functions, and municipal financial recordkeeping, working closely with the Finance Director and all Town departments.
Hourly Pay
: $21.63–$26.44 (DOQ)
Status: Non-exempt
Department: Finance
- Perform payroll processing and accounts payable functions.
- Support human resources functions and municipal financial recordkeeping.
- Collaborate with the Finance Director and Town departments to ensure accurate financial processes.
- Ideal candidates have experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and/or HR administration; strong attention to detail.
- The ability to handle confidential information in a fast-paced municipal setting.
