We at McCrum have an immediate opening for a full-time E&I Programmer in our Washburn, Maine potato processing facility.
Key Responsibilities- PLC & Automation Mastery:
Program, service, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to ensure peak machine performance. - Systems Integration:
Manage and optimize SCADA systems, HVAC controls, and industrial process loops. - Controls Maintenance:
Oversee and manage the maintenance of complex control systems and instrumentation. - Troubleshoot & Repair:
Use advanced technical expertise to diagnose and resolve electrical issues on complex food processing machinery and automated controls. - Infrastructure:
Assist in electrical installations and maintain facility-wide electrical panels and wiring pertaining to controls and instrumentation.
- Technical Expertise:
Advanced experience with automation, specifically PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial control programming. - Licensure: A State of Maine Electrical License is preferred, but not required.
- Leadership
Skills:
The ability to supervise and guide maintenance/electrical personnel when technical hurdles arise. - Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand, walk, and climb throughout the shift and lift up to 50 lbs. - Availability:
Ability to work 40-48+ hours per week and providing on-call support as required.
