We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student engineer to join our team. This position provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced production environment where cutting‑edge aerospace and defense systems are built. As an integral part of our engineering team, you will work on real‑world projects that drive quality, efficiency, and innovation in our production processes.
Immerse yourself in a full‑time, Monday‑Friday co‑op session that will run May/June to December (including the Fall semester; students are expected to take a semester off from coursework to fully engage). The position will be hybrid at the Santa Isabel site; candidates must reside in Puerto Rico during the co‑op period. Relocation is not offered.
What You Will Do:- Support the optimization of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput.
- Assist in troubleshooting production challenges by analyzing root causes and identifying corrective actions.
- Collect and analyze production data to support process validation, quality improvements, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including operations, quality, and design engineering, to ensure successful project execution.
- Develop and implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies and tools to monitor, control, and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring consistent quality and compliance with production standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards in all tasks.

- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

- Demonstrated experience leveraging strong communication, teaming, and results‑oriented skills.
- Prior experience communicating across teams and platforms to successfully collaborate on projects/goals.
- Experience leveraging excellent written and verbal communication skills to deliver successful programs.
