Position: Preschool Teacher
Location: Jefferson Village School, Jefferson, ME
Reports To: Early Childhood Program Director / Principal

• Plan and implement daily lessons aligned with early childhood standards.
• Support children’s cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development.
• Maintain classroom routines, safety, and organization.
• Collaborate with staff, families, and administration.
• Assess and document children’s progress and communicate with families.

• Degree or certification in Early Childhood Education Endorsement is 081 or 282B.
• Experience with preschool-aged children preferred.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to inclusive, equitable, and developmentally appropriate practices.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.

Jefferson Village School is a K-8 community school located on the north shores of Damariscotta Lake. We are 30 minutes to Augusta, Rockland, and the Pemaquid Region.
