Position OverviewIslesboro Central School is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Special Ed teacher to provide academic and behavioral support and instruction to elementary students with special needs to start in the 2026-27 school year.
Responsibilities and Qualifications- Provide academic and behavioral support and instruction to elementary students with special needs.
- Requirements include current Maine certification/CHRC, knowledge and experience with best practices and regulations in special education, and excellent communication skills.
- The ideal candidate is committed to building positive relationships with students, staff and families, meeting the needs of diverse learners, and innovating ways to help students succeed.
