The Oxford Hills School District is seeking excellent candidates for the position of Grades K-2
Social Skills Teacher at Paris Elementary School.

Paris Elementary School is located in South Paris and serves approximately 400 students in grades PreK-6. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with their colleagues to encourage, inspire, and support the learning process for all students.

Candidates must be at least conditionally certified (282) Special Education in Maine.

Building Principal

Work Schedule:

180 days contract

Salary: $45,000.00 - $79,539.70* (SY25/26)

MSAD #17 offers a robust employee benefits package for full‑time employees, including: health insurance with 80% of the premium paid by the employer (with up to 100% if both spouses work in the district); dental, vision, group life insurance; flexible spending and dependent care accounts;

  • Special Education positions receive the following annual supplemental stipends:
  • Day Treatment Teachers – $4,500
  • Functional Life Skills Teachers – $4,400
  • Social Skills Teachers – $3,400
  • Resource Room Teachers – $2,000
  • Social Workers – $4,450
  • Applied Academics Teachers – $4,000
