We are looking for a teacher who understands the unique developmental needs of high school learners and is dedicated to ensuring every child succeeds. You should be comfortable pivoting across the curriculum, as this role may include a variety of courses ranging from Algebra to Calculus (including Accounting).

Winslow High School is at the forefront of modern math pedagogy. For the past several years, our department has partnered with the Maine Math Science Alliance to implement the Building Thinking Classrooms (BTC) framework.

  Moving away from passive learning and toward active, collaborative problem‑solving.
• The Expectation: A successful candidate will be eager to implement BTC concepts into their daily lessons to spark student engagement and deep conceptual understanding.

• Certification:
  State of Maine (300) 7-12 Mathematics Certification.
• Clearance:
  Current Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) certification.
