Grade 3 Teacher – Mill Stream Elementary School

MSAD 54 is seeking a passionate, student-centered educator to join our team for the 2026‑27 school year. We are looking for an educator who believes deeply in the power of relationships, collaboration, and engaging instruction to help every child grow academically and personally.

• For ME Early Literacy Program (Pre‑K–2) – supporting foundational reading and writing development through evidence‑based literacy instruction.
• EL Education – Literacy (Grades 3–4) – providing a rigorous, knowledge‑building literacy program designed to strengthen reading comprehension and writing.
• Illustrative Mathematics (K–5) – a nationally recognized mathematics curriculum that promotes conceptual understanding, mathematical discourse, and problem‑solving.

Teachers receive ongoing professional development, coaching, and collaborative planning opportunities to ensure strong implementation of these programs.

MSAD 54 values deep partnerships that support students and families. Our schools work closely with Kennebec Valley Community Action Program (KVCAP) and the Hight Family Early Learning Center, providing early childhood education and support services that help prepare children and families for success in school and beyond. These collaborations strengthen the connection between early learning and elementary education while ensuring families have access to critical resources and supports.
