Middle School Assistant Track & Field Coach RSU 63 (Clifton, Eddington, and Holden)

Are you passionate about athletics and mentoring student‑athletes?
RSU 63 is seeking an energetic and organized Track & Field Coach to lead our program from mid-April through the end of May
. This is a fantastic opportunity to foster sportsmanship, discipline, and a love for the sport within our community.

• Instruction & Mentorship:
  Teach fundamental track and field techniques while ensuring a safe and positive environment for all participants.
• Compliance:
  Maintain thorough knowledge of current Track and Field rules and regulations.
• Safety First:
  Ensure all athletes follow safety protocols, including concussion management.
• Coordination:
  Manage meet logistics and maintain clear communication with students, parents, and school administration.

• Expertise:
  Strong functional knowledge of Track and Field events and scoring.
• Communication:
  Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to stay organized during a fast‑paced season.
• Certifications:
  • Current CHRC (Criminal History Records Check) approval through the Maine Department of Education.
  • Concussion Training certification (or a willingness to complete training prior to the season).
