MSAD 41 is seeking a High School Math Teacher. MSAD 41 is located in beautiful Piscataquis County and has a student population of approximately 600 students over four schools:
Marion
C. Cook (PK), Milo Elementary School (K-2), Brownville Elementary School (3-4), and Penquis Valley Middle High School (5-12). This is a full‑time position.
- Develop and deliver standards‑based math curriculum
- Create lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
- Incorporate technology and multimedia resources to enhance instruction
- Assess student progress regularly and provide meaningful feedback
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages respectful discussion and inquiry
- Participate in school‑wide activities, professional development, and department meetings
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Maine Department of Education Teaching Certification is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Math or related field.
- Classroom experience at the high school level is preferred.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
