High School Math Teacher

MSAD 41

MSAD 41 is seeking a High School Math Teacher. MSAD 41 is located in beautiful Piscataquis County and has a student population of approximately 600 students over four schools:
Marion

C. Cook (PK), Milo Elementary School (K-2), Brownville Elementary School (3-4), and Penquis Valley Middle High School (5-12). This is a full‑time position.

• Develop and deliver standards‑based math curriculum
• Create lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
• Incorporate technology and multimedia resources to enhance instruction
• Assess student progress regularly and provide meaningful feedback
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages respectful discussion and inquiry
• Participate in school‑wide activities, professional development, and department meetings
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success

• Maine Department of Education Teaching Certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Math or related field.
• Classroom experience at the high school level is preferred.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
