About the School
Chebeague Island School is a community-centered PreK-5 public school located on an island in Casco Bay. Access to the island is a 15 minute ferry ride from Cousins Island in Yarmouth. Position OverviewWe are looking for an educator to support our RTI and special education programs. This person will assist teachers in developing Tier 1 interventions, deliver Tier 2 interventions, and provide special education services for elementary students. This position is for the 2026–2027 school year.
ResponsibilitiesAssist teachers in developing Tier 1 interventions, deliver Tier 2 interventions, and provide special education services for elementary students.
QualificationsFull‑time position requires a K‑8 Teacher of Students with Disabilities (282E) and Maine Department of Education Criminal History Records Check certifications. We need an innovative educator who can collaborate closely with classroom teachers, understands how to use data to inform instruction, can deliver individualized instruction to students, and excels at communicating with students, families, and staff.
