- Able to secure or currently have Maine Educational Technician Certification
- Meets Federal and State requirements
- Be a collaborative team member
- Has a High School Diploma or equivalent, or higher
- Desire to work with school-aged children with disabilities
- Work with and instruct students with disabilities
- Collaborate with educational support staff, related service providers and administrators
- Regularly communicate special education students progress/needs to staff
- Communicate with teachers and school administration on student issues as needed
- Participate in school faculty meetings and staff development workshops offered by the district
- Enforce and uphold all District and Program/Building policies, rules, and regulations
- Perform other duties assigned
- Small group or individual support opportunities
- Work with seasoned support staff
