Beginning 2026-27 School Year - Art Teacher
Yarmouth High School is seeking a dynamic, versatile Art Teacher to join our visual and performing arts department.
Candidates with a strong background in 3D media and ceramics are essential. The ideal candidate will inspire students to think critically, take creative risks, and develop both technical skill and artistic voice in a student-centered environment.
This teacher will collaborate closely with colleagues to design rigorous curriculum, implement innovative instructional plans, and provide high-level support so students across all ability levels can be successful.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging art instruction across K‑12 curriculum.
- Plan and assess student progress in visual and performing arts.
- Collaborate with department colleagues and school staff to integrate arts across the curriculum.
- Provide individualized support for students with differing abilities.
- Maintain a safe and creative learning environment.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or related field.
- Certification in 3D media and ceramics, or equivalent professional experience.
- Teaching experience in a public school setting preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
