With a start date of August 15, 2026, Kents Hill’s new Math Teacher will collaborate with colleagues both in and out of the Math Department while striving to instill a love and curiosity of mathematics in students while advancing the Kents Hill curriculum and their own teaching practices.

The ideal candidate will be:

• committed to the boarding school student experience and excited to engage with students both inside and outside of the classroom. Typically, this includes:
  • residing in campus housing and engaging in all facets of residential life
  • advising a group of students
  • involvement in afternoon and extracurricular activities

The ideal candidate will have:

• experience teaching mathematics at all levels, Algebra 1 to AP Calculus and/or AP Statisticsli>
• a growth mindset: eagerness to learn, reflect, and evolve as an educator, aligning with Kents Hill’s support for ongoing professional development.
• excellent written and verbal communication skills
• the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
