RSU 10 is seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven, and student-centered leader to join our vibrant school community as our next Superintendent of Schools. Nestled in the beautiful western foothills of Maine, RSU 10 serves seven towns—Buckfield, Hanover, Hartford, Mexico, Roxbury, Rumford, and Sumner—each with a strong sense of identity and deep commitment to their schools.

Maine superintendent certification (or eligibility) is preferred.
About The District- RSU 10 serves 1,649 students at its four schools:
Buckfield Jr./Sr. High School, Hartford-Sumner Elementary School, Mountain Valley Community School, and Mountain Valley High School. - Total staff: 428.

The Role
- Provide clear, compassionate leadership across all schools and programs.
- Support a dedicated staff focused on doing what is best for students every day.
- Partner closely with the School Board to guide district priorities.
- Strengthen family and community relationships through transparent communication.
- Serve as an advocate for children, educators, and public education across the RSU 10 region.
