Adult Education Teacher

Part‑time position. Seeking a certified Adult Education Instructor. This position includes day and some evening hours. Position is based in Naples and includes some regular hours in Fryeburg. Flexible start date for the spring semester 2026.

• Develop and deliver curriculum from basic literacy level through high school completion and college preparation
• Work collaboratively with staff and other teachers to provide optimal learning experience for learners with diverse needs and backgrounds
• Provide instruction in multiple academic areas, with appropriate qualifications

• Possesses or can demonstrate eligibility for a Maine teaching credential

• Experience teaching academic subjects to adult learners
• Familiarity with content standards and proficiency‑based instruction
• Knowledge of modern office technology and software, including learning management systems and student information systems
• Self‑driven, positive, creative, systems thinker, and passionate about education

Up to 24 hours per week for 45 weeks between July 1 and June 30

Non‑benefitted, $31 per hour
