Special Education Teacher – Pre‑K Program
MSAD #41, serving the communities of Milo, Brownville, and LaGrange, is seeking an experienced and energetic Special Education Teacher for our new Pre‑K Program at the Marion
C. Cook School in LaGrange.
Our Special Education team collaborates closely with the general education staff to provide specially designed instruction for children ages 3–5 with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in an inclusive, nurturing environment.
The ideal candidate will be a team‑oriented professional with strong collaboration and communication skills, and a solid understanding of IEPs, differentiated instruction, behavioral and de‑escalation strategies, developmental social skills, accommodations, modifications, and all aspects of special education.
A 282‑B certification or 282 certification with eligibility for a conditional 282‑B is required. Safety Care certification is preferred; training will be provided if needed.
