Part‑time Long‑term Substitute Music Teacher
The Appleton Village School is seeking a part‑time, long‑term substitute teacher to teach band, chorus and ukulele classes in grades 5 through 8. The applicant should be a musician with a background working with or performing with ensembles. This position is on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays beginning January 26th and ending April 29th.
Responsibilities- Teach band, chorus, and ukulele classes to students in grades 5‑8.
- Prepare lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
- Musician with experience performing in ensembles.
- Ability to work independently in a school setting.
