E. Rowe Elementary School in Norway, ME.

Reports to: Building Principal

School Year 176 day position - Hourly rate from $18.85 - $22.32 per hour dependent on experience; position is under the Oxford Hills Educational Support Personnel Association which can be viewed here.

Work Schedule:

180 Day Contract

• Utilize best practices for motivating today’s students in a safe, supportive learning environment;
• Demonstrate knowledge in the development of real-world learning experiences and community partnerships to provide students with opportunities for extensions of learning, applied learning, community service, and citizenship;
• Demonstrate a willingness and ability to collaborate, engage, and communicate with colleagues, parents and the public.

• Instilling problem-solving and critical thinking as a “new basics” for learning across all grade levels;
• Delivering strong literacy instruction across content areas;
• Helping student develop skills to apply, interpret, analyze, and evaluate the vast, ever-expanding amount of information;
• Employing effective lesson design by adjusting to students’ personal learning needs and preferences, including appropriate technology applications.
