This is an exceptional leadership opportunity to guide and grow a robust family medicine residency program, train the next generation of rural family physicians, and make a meaningful impact on the future of primary care in Maine.
As Program Director, you will oversee curriculum development, faculty mentorship, resident recruitment, and program administration while maintaining a small clinical practice to stay engaged in patient care.
You'll work with in a supportive environment that values education, collaboration, and innovation in rural healthcare delivery.

Qualifications:
Education, Training, or Certifications Required Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Current board certification in Family Medicine Current Maine medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
Member in good standing of the Active Medical Staff Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience Required Minimum of 3 years in clinical family medicine
Prior experience in medical education preferred
Demonstrated commitment to rural healthcare and understanding of the unique needs of rural communities5 years of experience in medicine preferred
Leadership and mentoring experience strongly desired
