Delivery Driver

We have an exciting opportunity to work for a nationally recognised logistics business, considered to be the leader in its field. Pay rate is £12.71 per hour. The role of Delivery Driver is based in Marden, Kent.

You don’t need any experience, but you do require a Full UK Manual Driving Licence; we offer full support for you to succeed in your role! • 06:00 to 14:00
• 12:30 to 21:00 or until the run is finished

• £12.71 per hour
• Paid weekly

• Delivery and Installation
  :
  Safely transport furniture from warehouse to customers homes or offices. This includes loading and unloading items (some items weigh up to 120kg – you will be delivering with driver’s mate).
• Customer Service
  :
  Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have during the delivery process.
• Route Planning
  :
  Plan daily delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service, taking into account traffic conditions and customer schedules.
• Safety Compliance
  :
  Adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
• Inventory Management
  :
  Check client orders to ensure the correct items are loaded for delivery and maintain accurate records of deliveries made.

• You must hold a valid UK manual Driving Licence
• No more than 6 points for minor offences (No IN, DD, DR)
• Happy to drive a company issued vehicle (3.5 tonne van)
• Be physically fit
• Happy to cover South of the River and all over the South East from Canterbury to Slough.

PLEASE NOTE:

You will be required to complete the client’s Vetting Process which includes a basic DBS check paid for by you.
