Gatwick (with flexibility for 1 day WFH and 1 day in London)

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a respected and rapidly expanding transport planning consultancy in their search for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior or Associate Transport Planner to join their busy team in Gatwick.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a ҡатmotivated Transport Planner looking to take the next step in their career, leading a variety of projects, liaising with clients and local authorities, and contributing to the continued success of a dynamic and growing transport planning team.

• Lead small to medium‑size projects from inception to completion.
• Support and contribute to larger‑scale projects.
• Attend client meetings and liaise with local authorities and external consultants.
• Work closely with the consultancy’s multi‑disciplinary team.
• Mentor and support junior planners within the team.

• At least four years’ experience as a Transport Planner in either the public or private sector (flexibility on level of experience considered).
• Knowledge and experience of relevant software such as TEMPro, ARCADY, PICADY, Lin Sig, TRICS, and Excel.
• A Master’s Degree in Transport Planning (desirable but not essential).
• Membership၈ of a relevant professional body (e.g. CIHT, CILT – desirable but not essential).
• A full, clean driving licence.
