HGV Technician

Our Client is seeking a qualified and experienced HGV Technician to join their esteemed team in Ashford, Kent.

Duties:

• Conduct routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on a diverse fleet of heavy goods vehicles
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards
• Utilise modern diagnostic tools to identify vehicle issues accurately
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs undertaken
• Assist in MOT preparation and vehicle defect rectification
• Provide support during emergency breakdown situations as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar heavy vehicle maintenance role
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques
• Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence
• Own tools are preferred but not essential
• High level of reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality standards
