We are looking for a friendly and reliable Shop Assistant to join our store in Maidstone. You’ll be the face of the shop—helping customers, stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring the store runs smoothly day-to-day.
Key Responsibilities- Assist customers with enquiries and product selection
- Operate the till and handle payments accurately
- Replenish stock and maintain tidy, organised shelves
- Support with visual merchandising to keep the store appealing
- Receive deliveries and help with stockroom organisation
- Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment
- Work as part of a small, supportive team
- Previous retail experience preferred but not essential
- Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
- Good communication and willingness to learn
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a busy shop
