Our client operates a collection of fresh food gastro pubs across Kent and Sussex. Each venue has its own identity, but the approach is shared. Honest cooking, strong links with local farmers and producers, and menus shaped by the seasons. Guests visit for relaxed dining, quality pub classics, wood‑fired pizzas and dishes prepared with care. You become part of a team that values food, people and genuine guest experiences.

• Launch and lead the kitchen for a new opening in April.
• Build and develop the kitchen team.
• Create and deliver seasonal menus.
• Set kitchen standards from day one.
• Manage ordering, stock and GP.
• Work closely with senior management during pre‑opening and beyond.

• Salary: GBP 36,000 to GBP 38,000.
• Tronc: around GBP 7,000.
• Bonus potential up to GBP 7,500.
• New site opening experience.
• Long‑term career growth across the group.

• Proven Head Chef or senior Sous chef ready to step up.
• Experience in openings is helpful but not essential.
• Confident leading busy fresh food service.
• Track record of training and developing teams.
• Strong menu knowledge and cost control ability.
