ESD are recruiting for an experienced Earthworks Site Manager to lead a large-scale earthworks and muck shifting project in Kent. This is a significant scheme involving approximately 600,000m³ of material movement, offering long-term prospects for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities- Running large-scale muck shifting activities safely and efficiently
- Managing site teams and plant operations
- Coordinating daily works and ensuring productivity targets are met
- Maintaining accurate site records and documentation
- Ensuring strict compliance with health & safety standards
- Liaising with senior management and stakeholders
- Overseeing and managing all site operations on a major earthworks project
You will be responsible for managing a fleet including:
- 2 x Excavators
- 8–10 x Articulated Dump Trucks
- Compaction plant
- Proven experience managing large-scale earthworks projects
- Strong background in muck shifting operations
- Demonstrable experience managing multiple items of heavy plant
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
