IT Technician

Location: Staplehurst, Kent

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000

Hours: 40 per week

This is a great opportunity to join a well‑established organisation near Staplehurst, providing day‑to‑day IT support across a busy site. You’ll be part of a small, friendly team responsible for keeping systems running smoothly and users fully supported.

• Respond to support requests for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Set up new users, install and configure IT equipment and software.
• Monitor systems and perform routine maintenance checks.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, and network‑related problems.
• Log incidents and escalate more complex issues when required.
• Deliver a proactive, helpful service to users across the organisation.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, and Active Directory.
• Basic networking experience (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN).
• Hands‑on hardware troubleshooting skills.
• A friendly, solutions‑focused approach to support.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

• Around one year of experience in IT Support (business, education, or public‑sector setting).
• Awareness of data security, confidentiality, and safeguarding.
• GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or above).
