Overview
To ensure pregnant people and their babies are treated with respect and kindness, maintaining dignity and privacy at all times. To provide support to the multidisciplinary team with clinical and non-clinical practices in order to provide women centred care. To undertake a range of delegated duties without direct supervision from a Midwife/ Registered Practitioner unless required. Contribute to the overall philosophy of continually improving care to the woman and her baby.
Participate in the collection of data for research and audit purposes and/or to improve care to the pregnant people and their baby(ies).
- Provide care to women and their babies within the boundaries of existing knowledge and skills at all times.
- Maintain safety for pregnant people and their visitors at all times.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of care to the woman and her baby.
- Participate in data collection for research and audit to improve care.
- Support the multidisciplinary team with clinical and non-clinical practices to deliver women-centred care.
- Undertake delegated duties without direct supervision from a Midwife/Registered Practitioner unless required.

If you are currently on or moving to a visa that requires sponsorship by MTW, eligibility criteria include having over 2 years of permanent NHS experience in a clinical role as per the Agenda for Change pay circular. - Information about the Trust:

Once pre-employment checks are completed, you will be contacted by Recruitment to arrange your start date in line with Corporate Inductions. You will then attend the Trust's Clinical Induction Programme for Clinical Support Workers, which lasts two weeks and involves travelling to both Trust sites. The programme includes 2 supernumerary shifts and standard classroom-based days from 9am to 5pm. Appointment to this post is subject to a satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service (Enhanced) Check, including checks against vulnerable adults and children.
