Mainduties of the job
The Night Support Worker will be responsible for supporting an immobile client with moving and handling using a hoist, carrying out regular welfare checks, completing hourly checks on a client located on the third floor, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a calm, safe, and supportive night-time environment. Training will be provided if required. The role is part-time, 20 hours per week, and the successful candidate will receive an annual base salary of £13,364, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

What you will be doing
The role is Part-Time Night Support Worker, 20 hours per week, rolling rota, including weekends.
The role involves providing overnight support for 12 adult clients within a residential care home. The home has a client that is immobile and a wheelchair user, requiring full support throughout the night to ensure their safety, comfort, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting an immobile client with moving and handling using a hoist (training can be provided if required)
- Carrying out regular welfare checks during the night
- Completing hourly checks on a client located on the third floor of the property (Please note there is no lift access within the house)
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns appropriately
- Ensuring a calm, safe, and supportive night-time environment
Physical Requirements
This role is physically demanding and includes:
- Frequent use of stairs throughout the night
- Maintaining alertness during night shifts
Applicants should be confident in their ability to meet these physical requirements safely.

- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
