OverviewStanton House is working with a medium sized, fast-paced private equity backed FMCG organisation based in Kent. We are seeking a talented Senior Finance Analyst to join its high-performing finance team.
The RoleAs a Senior Finance Analyst
, you will play a key role in supporting strategic and operational decision-making through robust financial analysis, insightful reporting, and business partnering. You will work closely with commercial, operations, and supply chain teams to drive performance, improve profitability, and enhance financial processes.
- Partner with business unit leaders to provide financial insight, challenge, and support across commercial and operational functions.
- Deliver detailed financial analysis and commentary on sales, margins, and cost performance versus budget, forecast, and prior year.
- Support the monthly management reporting and forecasting cycles, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clear communication of results.
- Prepare business cases, investment appraisals, and scenario modelling to support strategic decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting tools, and data integrity.
- Contribute to annual budgeting and long-range planning activities.
- Collaborate with FP&A and Commercial Finance teams to align reporting and performance metrics.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders, influencing business outcomes.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or finalist with strong analytical experience.
- Proven track record in a commercial finance, FP&A, or business partnering role within FMCG or another fast-moving, data-driven environment.
- Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with ERP systems (Dynamics 365) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial data for non-finance stakeholders.
- A proactive, inquisitive mindset with the confidence to challenge and influence at all levels.
- Commercially astute, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
