Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Maidstone, Kent (Southern Counties, South East region with good access to the M25)

Salary & Benefits: £27k - £35k DOE + Training & Benefits

We are a well‑established Water Treatment Company seeking a dedicated Water Hygiene Engineer to undertake cleans, disinfections, temperature monitoring and TMV servicing across various client sites. Applicants should have extensive industry experience and be independent and dedicated.

Locations considered: Dartford, Chatham, Gillingham, Ashford, Tonbridge, Croydon, Epsom, Southend‑on‑Sea, Dagenham, Rainham, Orpington, Brentwood, Maldon, Chelmsford, Cheshunt, Harlow, Reigate, Horsham, Hassle mere, Brighton, Crawley, Hastings, Faversham, Sittingbourne, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Bromley, Canterbury.

• Experienced in the Water Treatment industry, working for reputable companies.
• Beneficial to have plumbing skills and relevant qualifications.
• Self‑sufficient, knowledgeable and independent on site.
• Experience across a mixed portfolio of sites (healthcare, commercial, domestic).
• Ideal to have healthcare site experience.
• Flexible and adaptable to travel across Southern Counties.

• Perform cleans and disinfections.
• Carry out deadleg removals.
• Service, repair and failsafe test TMVs.
• Maintain water softeners and filters.
• Conduct water sampling and temperature monitoring.
• Flush outlets with low usage.
• Ensure work follows HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
