Quality Engineer

Location:

Staplehurst, Kent

Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 Per annum, DOE

About the Role and Client:

We are a leading manufacturer of precision-engineered solutions, operating from a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced technology. This is a hands-on role for an experienced Quality Professional passionate about maintaining high standards and driving process improvements within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

* Raise and investigate internal/external non-conformances, implement corrective actions

* Plan and conduct internal audits

* Create and maintain key documentation

* Support ISO 9001 management system duties

* Liaise with stakeholders on quality concerns and continuous improvement

* Manage quality targets and KPIs

* Assist with calibration system and quality controls (PFMEA, 8D, FAIRs)

Candidate Requirements:

* Minimum 2 years’ quality experience in manufacturing

* Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, tolerances, and inspection techniques

* Experience with ISO 9001 and non-conformance investigations

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* Proficient in IT and ERP systems skills

Desirable:

* CMM experience

* ISO 9001 auditing experience

* PPAP process knowledge
