EDucation is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to work five days per week in a school based in the Maidstone area. This is a planning and marking role on a supply basis, ideal for a qualified teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality Science lessons and driving pupil progress.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Science lessons, assessing and marking pupils work, and maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.
Key responsibilities include:- Planning and delivering high quality Science lessons
- Marking and assessing student work in line with school policies
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
Supporting pupils academic progress and wellbeing - Working collaboratively with school staff and leadership

The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Essential
- Proven experience teaching Science within a UK school
- Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
- Experience with full teaching responsibilities including planning and marking
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A genuine passion for Science and education
- The flexibility and professionalism to thrive in a school environment
