Design Technology Teacher (Maidstone) – £160 to £220 per day ASAP start – Temporary position.

In the heart of Maidstone, a secondary school is looking for an ambitious Design Technology Teacher to join as soon as possible. The Head Teacher seeks someone who can add value to a creative and forward‑thinking Design and Technology department within a supportive Senior Leadership Team.

The school is renowned for its strong Progress 8 results and its commitment to innovative teaching practices, providing excellent training and development opportunities for both existing and new staff. It is an exciting time to join the team.

• Experience engaging KS3 and KS4 students.
• Delivering both practical and theory‑based lessons.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety.
• Confidently managing behaviour in the classroom.
• Open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

This secondary school caters to approximately 850 pupils aged 11–16. The environment is positive, inclusive, and enthusiastic for both staff and students.
