About the Role and
Key Responsibilities
As a Qualified Primary Teacher working on a supply basis with Tailor
EDucation, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning and development within primary school settings across the Maidstone area. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons (pre-planned or your own where required), maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher. Flexibility, professionalism, and a passion for primary education are key to success in this role.

The Ideal Candidate Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification (essential)
Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and the ability to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
A positive, adaptable approach and a commitment to supporting pupil progress and wellbeing
