Are you passionate about making a real difference to children who learn differently? We are currently working with an alternative provision in Maidstone seeking a dedicated and creative KS1 SEN Teacher to join their team, supporting pupils with Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) to thrive academically and personally.

• Teach a small KS1 class within an alternative provision setting
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum
• Support pupils with ASC through structured academic learning and tailored interventions
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement EHCP targets
• Promote emotional regulation, communication and independence skills
• Create a nurturing, safe and consistent classroom environment
• Build strong relationships with families and external agencies

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience working with pupils with SEN, particularly ASC
• Strong understanding of strategies for supporting communication, sensory needs and social interaction
• A flexible, calm and positive approach
• Excellent behaviour management and de-escalation skills
• A passion for inclusive, child-centred education
