We at GSL Education Kent are working on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in Mid Kent to recruit a Maths Teacher to join a supportive and established department. This opportunity is suitable for both ECTs and experienced teachers, with flexibility around start dates for the right candidate.

The Maths Teacher role:

Teaching Maths at KS3–KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available).
Full-time position (part-time considered).
Supportive department with shared resources and planning.
Long-term or permanent opportunities available.
The Ideal Maths Teacher:

Holds QTS (or is working towards it).
Has experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
Is enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to raising attainment.
Is open to working via an education recruitment agency.
Essential Requirements (Agency Compliance):

Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
Right to work in the UK.
Ability to provide two professional references.
Recent experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school.
Pay:

MPS / UPS (dependent on experience).
Weekly pay via PAYE or umbrella options available.
This Maths Teacher position requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Successful applicants must complete all necessary safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or a new application.
