Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 42 hours weekly (Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, with one early finish per week and Saturdays 8am to 2pm on a rota basis)
Salary: OTE up to £38,000 (uncapped) with basic of £32,000 per annum
Mercedes-Benz of Maidstone is recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Service Advisor to join our Aftersales Team on site.
Joining our friendly aftersales team, you will be a team player with exceptional communication skills to build rapport with colleagues and customers. You will report to our aftersales manager who will help impact your knowledge and experience along with the team, allowing you to develop your skills and establish a strong career within the industry.
Responsibilities- Book MOTs, services and other repair work for customers.
- Advise customers about warranty cover and upsell additional parts/accessories that benefit the customer.
- Coordinate with the full Aftersales department to organise and schedule appointments, based on workload and call volumes.
- Manage a high-volume of customers daily, including telephone calls and online booking queries.
- Inform customers of turnaround times and ensure effective communication throughout the time that a customer's car is in the workshop.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update systems when any bookings have been made.
As a Service Advisor at our busy dealership you must have heaps of energy, a warm personality and a real passion for delivering a first‑class customer experience each and every time. You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport easily while being able to explain technical information in a clear and concise manner. Previous experience using Kerridge / ADP is an advantage, as is knowledge of other essential dealer systems.
You will be a great team player but also able to work independently using your own initiative. We want to hear from you if you have worked in a similar role within the automotive industry and have a passion for customer service and cars!
