This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join a well-established main contractor delivering high-profile commercial projects for blue-chip and public-sector clients, with values up to 15m. The contractor operates as a main contractor delivering refurbishment and occasional new-build projects across healthcare, commercial office, and government sectors. Schemes typically range from 300k to 15m and are delivered directly for established blue-chip and public-sector clients. Following a strong year and continued workload growth, the business is expanding its estimating function.

This is a full-time, office-based Estimator role working closely with a small, experienced team of long-serving professionals. You'll take projects from initial enquiry through to tender submission, contributing to competitive and commercially sound bids.

This position suits a detail-focused Estimator with main contracting experience who is comfortable working independently and thrives in a supportive, professional environment. You'll be commercially aware, organised, and confident managing the full tender process.

The Role - Responsibilities
Producing accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects
Reviewing enquiries and completing bid / no-bid assessments
Analysing tender documentation and preparing detailed estimates
Submitting tenders and supporting post-tender queries

The Person - Requirements
Proven experience as an Estimator within a main contracting environment
Background in refurbishment or commercial construction projects
Experience producing competitive tenders
Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
Able to commute to Maidstone
