Are you passionate about Fresh Produce and building strong relationships with both retail customers and suppliers? We are seeking a Technical Account Manager to take ownership of key product categories. In this role, you will work directly with retail customers to manage product quality, compliance and technical requirements, while also collaborating with growers and suppliers to ensure consistent supply, innovation and continuous improvement.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, professional, and approachable individual who enjoys working with people at all levels and thrives in a fast-paced environment. While there is no team management responsibility, you will have full accountability for your categories and the opportunity to influence both customer satisfaction and supplier performance.

Technical Account Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail customers, growers and suppliers to ensure product quality and specifications are met.
  • Monitor, communicate and resolve any quality issues, complaints or rejections with clear recommendations and action plans.
  • Manage technical documentation, due diligence and customer specifications for assigned product categories.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development and drive innovation.
  • Capture competitor activity and market insights to inform product and category strategies.
  • Ensure sustainability, ethical and technical standards are met across suppliers and product lines.
Technical Account Manager Key Requirements
  • Proven experience in Fresh Produce and retail account management from a technical perspective.
  • Strong understanding of product specifications, quality standards and supplier management.
  • Highly professional, approachable and dynamic, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Comfortable working independently, managing multiple stakeholders and thriving in a fast-paced, varied role.
  • Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to make a significant impact and grow within the business.
