Audit and Accounts Senior

Overview

We are seeking an Audit and Accounts Senior to join a Professional Services firm in Maidstone. This permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to contribute to and grow within a well-regarded team.

• Prepare and review statutory accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients in compliance with regulations.
• Conduct and oversee audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
• Supervise and review the work of junior team members, providing support where necessary.
• Maintain strong client relationships and handle client queries professionally.
• Ensure compliance with audit and accounting standards.
• Provide support to clients regarding tax matters and financial planning.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes within the department.

• Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA or ACCA, or equivalent.
• Proven expertise in audit and accounts preparation within accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and auditing regulations.
• Experience in managing client relationships effectively.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff members.
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
