We are supporting a progressive, well-established legal firm with offices across the South of England on a confidential search for a Senior Solicitor experienced in Family Law. The candidate will be based in Maidenhead. This is an exciting role which offers a rare pathway to departmental leadership, working directly alongside the Senior Partner.

Following recent acquisitions of smaller law firms, a significant opportunity has emerged for an ambitious, commercially minded Senior Family Solicitor to inherit a portfolio valued at approximately £100k, supported by strong new‑business channels and a clear progression route into the senior leadership team.

This is a highly attractive role for someone seeking both autonomy and long-term career growth within a modern, expanding practice.

• Manage a private family law caseload including divorce/civil partnership dissolution, financial matters and children matters.
• Provide practical, clear and empathetic legal advice to clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and deliver the highest standards of service.
• Contribute to the wider team through mentoring, business development, or senior‑level leadership.
• Support training and development initiatives as required.

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 5+ years PQE in family law (consideration given from newly qualified to Partner level depending on experience).
• Strong background in family law or high‑quality training seat experience if recently qualified.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to client care.
