About the role
This is a training-led, junior IT role designed for those with little or no professional IT experience. Full training will be provided.
During training (typically 1 month): 5 days per week onsite in Maidenhead
Once trained:
Hybrid working – 3 days per week in Maidenhead
You’ll be supported by experienced colleagues, gain hands‑on responsibility early, and build skills that set you up for long‑term growth in IT.
What you’ll be doing- Provide first‑line IT support to colleagues via phone, email and Microsoft Teams
- Resolve basic issues across desktops, mobiles, applications and networks, escalating where needed nachvoll
- Deliver friendly, inclusive and professional customer service at all times
- Support account setup andibernation, following security and data policies
- Create and update clear knowledge base articles to improve self‑service and team learning
- You don’t need to tick every box – we’re keen to hear from people with potential.
- GCSEs or A-levels (or equivalent) in core subjects such as English and Maths
- An interest in IT, technology or digital services (qualifications are welcome but not essential)
- Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues in plain language
- A customer‑focused mindset with empathy/getting detail
- Awareness of basic IT security principles (passwords, phishing, data handling)
