We are seeking a part‑time experienced MCA‑qualified Marine Chief Engineer to act as Chief Engineer on board a passenger and supply vessel on a regular or semi‑regular basis, working Mondays and Tuesdays throughout the 2026 season.
You must hold a valid MCA Chief Engineer’s Certificate of Competency (CoC).

Duties and Responsibilities- Ensuring the vessel remains well maintained and seaworthy at all times
- Managing and completing all planned maintenance schedules
- Responding promptly to any mechanical or engineering issues that arise
- Supporting overall onboard operations as required
We are looking for an adaptable, positive team player who can contribute effectively to all shipboard activities.
Qualifications- Valid MCA Chief Engineer’s Certificate of Competency (CoC) – essential
- Monday:
Typically a maintenance or relocation day (approximately 8 hours) - Tuesday:
Standard sailing day (approximately 10 hours)
