ABA Teaching Assistant

Maidenhead
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract:
Term-time only
Salary:
From £89 a day (PAYE)
About the Role
Key Responsibilities- Support pupils with ASD on a 1:1 basis and in small groups using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) strategies
- Assist in implementing individual education and behaviour plans
- Promote pupils’ communication, independence and social development
- Work closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals
- Support pupils with personal care needs in a respectful and dignified manner
- Maintain a safe, positive and structured learning environment
- Training or experience in ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis)
- Experience working with children with SEND, particularly ASD
- Willingness and ability to carry out personal care
- A calm, patient and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience in a specialist or SEND school setting
- Relevant qualifications in education, psychology or child development
- A supportive and experienced team
- Ongoing training and professional development
- A fulfilling role making a genuine difference to pupils’ lives
- Consistent working hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
