Classroom Assistant – Maidenhead

Work alongside specialist and driven teachers to create a dynamic, effective learning environment that enables learners to flourish. The classroom assistant plays a rewarding and essential role, engaging with children, supporting and developing their learning, and delivering creative, well‑planned lessons.

• Assist teachers in delivering core subjects such as Maths and English as well as foundation subjects like Geography and PE.
• Support the planning and implementation of lessons, ensuring they are engaging and student‑centred.
• Provide individual and group support to children, fostering a safe and encouraging classroom atmosphere.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and support children with ASD, behavioural issues, or learning difficulties.

• Recent graduate keen to start a career in education.
• Previous experience with young people is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or assisting in childcare or nursery settings is valuable.
• Ability to build effective rapport with children.
• Willingness to go the extra step to create a positive impact on young learners.
