DNA Recruit is working for an award‑winning Brand Experience Agency that is entering a significant growth phase, to find them an awesome New Business Development Director. With a strong reputation for delivering insight‑led experiential, social‑led and retail campaigns, the agency is now investing in senior commercial talent to accelerate strategic growth.
This is a pivotal leadership role, owning the full new business lifecycle and positioning the agency as a consultative, strategic partner rather than a transactional supplier.
About the Role- Lead the complete new business journey, from identifying opportunities through to pitch leadership and contract conversion.
- Build and manage a high-quality pipeline aligned to annual revenue and margin objectives.
- Deliver agreed new business revenue targets, prioritising profitable and long‑term partnerships.
- Develop strategic growth plans across priority sectors and categories.
- Generate qualified leads through networking, market insight and collaboration with Marketing.
- Lead early‑stage client engagement, building credibility with senior stakeholders.
- Shape briefs, oversee RFI/RFP responses and drive compelling, insight‑led pitch narratives.
- Collaborate closely with Creative, Client Development and Campaign teams to ensure seamless transition of won business.
- Act as a senior commercial voice within the agency, influencing proposition development and strategic direction.
- Proven success in new business development within experiential, brand experience and/or social marketing (retail highly desirable).
- Strong track record of selling consultative, insight‑led solutions rather than commoditised services.
- Demonstrable experience building and converting high‑value pipelines.
- Established network with the ability to open doors and create opportunities.
- Exceptional presentation, communication and proposal‑writing skills.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary pitch teams and complex RFP/RFI processes.
- Strong commercial acumen with clear understanding of revenue, margin and long‑term client value.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate market insight into tangible growth opportunities.
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
Location: Maidenhead (hybrid – 3 days in office)
Salary: £70k plus performance‑based bonus
