Quality Control Raw Material Lead

The Raw Materials QC Technician is responsible for testing raw material samples for physical attributes and FTIR identification testing. The Raw Materials QC Technician is responsible for executing additional tests such as Moisture Contents, Viscosity, PH as directed by the Quality Manager.

Salary
: $20/hour

• Perform pH testing, Moisture testing, melting point testing, Viscosity testing, specific gravity testing, physical attributes testing and FTIR identification testing of raw materials.
• Proper documentation of the tests performed.
• Perform retest on raw materials.
• Review of Raw Materials CoA and perform testing based on the requirements.
• Ensure GMP and SOP compliance during manufacturing activities.
• Initiate Supplier Corrective Actions for Raw Material Suppliers and draft them.
• Perform sampling of raw material containers as needed.
• Retain sample collection and management.
• Prepare samples for micro and assay submission.
• Assist with inventory management and instrument calibrations.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the Quality Manager.

• 1-3 years of experience in a job-related field is required.
• Hands-on FTIR experience is a must.
• Basic GMP knowledge required.
• Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and Good Documentation Practices.
• Act as a strong team player with a positive and professional attitude and collaboration skills.
• Impeccable multi-tasking, organization, time management, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite proficiency are required.
