Creative Financial Staffing of New York is currently working with a prominent real estate acquisition, development, and construction firm located in North Jersey and they are seeking a Project Accountant to join their team. • They are consistently onboarding major exciting multi-million dollar projects

About the position as a Project Accountant:

• Manage all accounting and financial reporting for a high-profile commercial real estate portfolio (initially a 30–40 tenant asset drive).
• Interpret leases, perform CAM reconciliations, and support key property- and construction-related transactions.
• Analyze and prepare financial statements; assist with budgeting and input of acquisition historical data.
• Split and streamline functions with senior and remote support; adapt to new acquisitions or changes.
• Communicate proactively to flag issues, suggest improvements, and partner on process integrity.

Qualifications of the Project Accountant:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• Construction or Manufacturing bonus
• Experience with Yardi a huge plus
• Detail Oriented, self sufficient and with great communication
