Personal Lines Customer Service Representative Job Summary
Seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join a growing team. This role involves providing outstanding service and support to clients by assisting with their personal insurance needs, including handling inquiries, processing policy changes, and resolving concerns. A positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for client satisfaction are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their personal insurance policies, including auto, home, renters, and more.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, including policy questions, billing concerns, and coverage explanations.
- Process policy changes, payment updates, and endorsements accurately and efficiently.
- Actively collaborate with insurance carriers, answering client-related questions and resolving any issues that arise.
- Provide guidance and educate clients on available insurance options, discounts, and coverage enhancements, ensuring their policies meet their needs.
- Handle claims inquiries by supporting clients throughout the claims process and maintaining open communication.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records in the agency management system while ensuring compliance with all company and regulatory guidelines.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in insurance or financial services.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity, empathy, and professionalism.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with insurance agency management systems.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy in documentation and transactions.
